V8 Short Track Challenge Series

  Within the VSCDA world, there has been a growing trend in recent years of big bore drivers that only run at Road America.  The prevailing stereotype is that big cars belong only on big tracks.  In period these cars were raced at tracks big and small to the thrill of spectators and drivers. The objective of the V8 Short Track Challenge Series is to increase participation of big bore cars at the smaller tracks on the VSCDA schedule. Beyond contributing to the success of the events, meeting this objective will provide better competition for the drivers of those cars and hopefully aid in improving the comradery in the group.   The V8STC competition will take place as part of the following VSCDA events in 2024:   *TBD*

Gingerman: May 2-3, 2024

Blackhawk Farms: June 14-16, 2024

Grattan: August 9-11, 2024

Ozark Vintage Festival: October 11-13, 2024

  Anyone wishing to participate in the V8STC races must be entered in the VSCDA event.
