40th Anniversary Celebration (August 14-16th)
2026 VSCDA Grattan Summer Party Invitation:
Join us as we celebrate VSCDA’s 40th Anniversary at Grattan Raceway. It will be a weekend to remember.
This year the growing Formula Ford East/West Challenge with Formula 1 style knockout qualifying sessions will expand with more cars and an additional knockout session. The sessions are great fun for both the racers and viewers. In this case, the sequel will surpass the original!
New Drivers: for first time graduates of this year’s Drivers School, by attending Grattan and Blackhawk this year, students will receive VSCDA instruction at both races and a 50% registration rebate after attending both events. This is an extraordinary and economical way to quickly and safely develop a new driver’s racecraft.
All our traditional specialty races and ample track time will be part of the weekend:

Closed Wheel Enduro
Continuing our charitable efforts, we will again have the Rides for Charity event. A small donation of (minimum $25 requested) will get crew, guests and kids a ride in a race car or sports car to experience the roller coaster joy of being on Grattan’s historic track. For our drivers, we will once again host a closed wheel enduro supporting Disabled American Veterans.
VSCDA welcomes our friends from HSR for the North South Challenge.

Cancellation Refund Policy: A full refund of the entry fee will be issued before August 6, 2026. A partial refund (entry fee - $50.00 service fee) will be issued until the opening of registration Thursday p.m. No refunds for cancellations will be made once registration closes on track entrance day (the day before the 1st practice race begins).
